Furthermore, the timetable has complementary actions aimed at developing communication skills, leadership, entrepreneurship, research, teamwork, coexistence between different cultures, among other skills necessary in the business field.
This includes, for example, contact with executives from organizations abroad, organization and participation in business events (such as academic weeks and symposiums). And also, the development of projects for real companies from different sectors, with the aim of developing, applying and evaluating solutions to current challenges.

Program activities and advantages
What is included in the program?
➔ Bachelor’s degree in Management (3,000 hours, at least 900 of which are taught in English).
➔ Specific activities of the International Management Program (660 hours spread over six semesters).
➔ Double Degree Program. The student who chooses not to pursue a double degree will take an international module offered at PUCPR to obtain certification from the International Management Program; however, in this case, you will not obtain a certificate from another university.
Go international with PUCPR: get to know the world
The student of the International Management Program must study a year abroad, on the campus of a partner university, in the 6th and 7th semester of the course. One year before the period abroad, PUCPR provides a list of universities eligible for the double degree, the number of vacancies, characteristics, required obligations (such as proficiency levels), services and benefits offered by each partner institution.
With the guidance and support of the team responsible for the program, the student who chooses the double degree, will receive three certifications at the end of the course:
➔ Bachelor’s degree in Management from PUCPR;
➔ International Management Program Certificate;
➔ Bachelor’s degree in Management or Master’s degree from the University where you get the Double Degree (for those who complete the course load at one of the international partner universities).
For those of you who want to include an international academic experience in your resume, the program brings another advantage, relevant to your financial planning and that of your family. While in another country, the student will pay four courses per semester to PUCPR, without paying anything to the foreign university.* In other words, a much more attractive value than that which would be necessary to convert it into the currency of the chosen location, for an equivalent training.
*The international university’s tuition fees are covered by the program’s monthly fee. Airfare, visa, living costs in a foreign country, or accommodation are not included.
Who can participate in the program and how to join?
The International Management Program is aimed at students who wish to develop skills to operate in a global context. The requirement to join the program is:
➔ Pass the PUCPR entrance exam. When registering for the selection process, you can choose between a conventional Bachelor’s degree in Management or the International Management one (which includes the program). Select the second option.
Successful candidates will receive guidance to officially enroll in the bachelor’s degree and the program. If not admitted to the program, the interested party will be able to participate in the selection process again when new classes open.
For those wondering whether they meet the prerequisites, it is worth highlighting that you do not need to have previous exchange or living experience abroad. Furthermore, perfect command of English is not mandatory. This is because communication skills in another language will also be developed throughout classes and in contact with other students who speak English and exchange students from different parts of the world. An experience that brings participants even closer to the multicultural richness provided by coexistence and shared learning.
