CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE FOR PARTNERS AND INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

The 2022 academic semester is almost here, and we are looking forward to starting a new academic year with a much more favorable scenario.

After this challenging period, we are eager to get back to in-person activities, living, learning, and working together with our academic community. Fortunately, Brazil is advancing considerably in vaccination distribution. The Paraná State reached more than 85% of the population over 18 years old vaccinated. Considering the comprehensive immunization of professors, employees, and students, PUCPR plans to resume its in-person activities in the first semester of 2022, which starts on March 3.

We reinforce, however, our commitment to continue monitoring the situation and following all the protocols indicated by the Brazilian Health Ministry – keeping partners and students informed of any changes.

We are looking forward to welcoming our international students on campus!
