SELECTION PROCESS FOR PROFESSOR(S) FOR THE THEOLOGY GRADUATE PROGRAM
The Bachelor and Graduate Programme in Theology are now opening an online application process for Professors at the School of Education and Humanities at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná.

Basic Information
– Requirements: The person interested in the Selective Process which is the object of this Call Notice is required to present documentation that meets the following requirements:
I- A Doctorate in Theology or Religious Studies with teaching and research in the area of Systematic Theology with ecclesial and social relevance, in an interdisciplinary perspective;
II- a Bachelor’s degree in Theology;
III- relevant and regular publications in the area of Religious Studies and Theology (Q1 Journals, Qualis CAPES A1-B1/Qualis Books and Chapters L3-L4) in the last five years, with a minimum score of 1,000 (one thousand)
points according to the attached table;
IV- participation in and/or coordination of Research Project(s) in Systematic Theology;
V- research group leadership or collaboration in Brazil and/or abroad.
Paragraph One: The required degrees must meet the legal requirements for
recognition and validation in Brazil.
Paragraph Two: The candidate’s publications should be aligned with the Research
Area of Systematic Theology, Dialogue, and Interculturality, with an evident
interdisciplinary character.
Paragraph Three: Foreign candidates are not required to have dominion of the
Portuguese language before their hiring. They are, however, expected to learn and
acquire fluency in Portuguese from the moment they are hired.
Paragraph Four: PUC professors are expected to reside in the metropolitan area of
Curitiba.

The documents indicated in Paragraph 1 must be sent and/or made available to the Coordination and Secretariat of the Graduate Programme in Theology at PUCPR before 6:00 pm on 20th June 2022.
