The PUCPR INTENSIVE PORTUGUESE LANGUAGE & CULTURE PROGRAM is a three-week program offered twice a year during the Brazilian winter and summer terms. The program combines intensive Portuguese language training with traditional Brazilian cultural activities, including Capoeira, Brazilian Cuisine, and dance classes (Samba, Forró, Sertanejo, etc), as well as a trip to Foz do Iguaçu (Iguazu Falls) and a day trip to the historical city of Morretes.

WHAT DOES THIS PROGRAM OFFER?
• 52 hours of in-class Portuguese lessons
• 48 hours of cultural activities
• Trip to Iguazu Falls (UNESCO’s World Heritage Site)
• Cultural activities
• Day trip to Morretes

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
US$ 1600 – Payment via wire transfer (check the guidelines below)

APPLICATION DEADLINE
Register by June 12th, 2022. The program will be confirmed once we receive fifteen (15) registrations.

PROGRAM DURATION
From July 4th to July 24th, 2022 (three weeks)

REQUIREMENTS
Students must issue a CPF (Brazilian Tax File Number), which is required for the registration at PUCPR. Students may find the tutorial below.
