XI Symposium on Internationalization Highlights Latin America’s Potential and Challenges

This year’s Symposium on Internationalization focused on fostering a collective discussion about Latin America, emphasizing its immense potential as a rich and culturally diverse destination for international education. At the same time, the event addressed the challenges and opportunities the region faces within the context of internationalization.

The opening conference featured Andrea Losada Vasquez, Director of International Relations at our partner institution, Universidad Espíritu Santo (UEES) in Ecuador. Andrea delivered a powerful and life-changing testimony that deeply inspired educators and colleagues who had the opportunity to attend.

In addition to her presentation, the symposium showcased impactful testimonies and best practices from interaction among Latin American researchers, faculty, and students. Their ongoing efforts to promote collaboration and innovation continue to position Latin America as a hub of opportunity, cultural richness, and academic excellence on the global stage.
