A Legacy of Collaboration
This historic partnership began in 1986 with the support of CITIPAR, marking a milestone in academic development with the launch of the first master’s Program in Computer Science in Curitiba. Since then, the cooperation has delivered exceptional results:
• Graduation of more than 30 Brazilian PhDs at UTC.
• Creation of PUCPR’s Urban Management Institute.
• Developing impactful joint projects with industry leaders like Renault and the Federation of Industries of Paraná (FIEP).
Key Highlights of the visit
• Signing two new Double Degree Agreements: Expanding opportunities for Brazilian and French students in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Engineering.
• Academic Exchange: Professors and researchers from both institutions shared knowledge, strengthening academic and research collaboration.
• Commitment to Global Education: Enhancing the preparation of professionals for the demands of an increasingly globalized job market.
This milestone underscores PUCPR’s role as a university and its challenges.
