Check out what happened during PUCPR Summer Institute 2020!

During 3 and 4 weeks, 15 students from United States, South Korea and France, attended the PUCPR Summer Institute program in Curitiba!

The PUCPR Experience Language & Culture program takes place in PUCPR Campus Curitiba during Brazilian summer (Jnauary) and winter (July), and combines Portuguese classes with cultural activities and field trips, such as: Capoeira class (Brazilian martial arts), dance class (Carnaval e seus ritmos), Brazilian cuisine class and trips to Morretes, Antonina, Foz do Iguaçu (UNESCO World Heritate Site) and to an ecoturism park surrounded by nature and beautiful waterfalls.

The international students enjoyed a Brazilian summer during their winter break and had a lot of fun while getting closer to Brazilian culture and traditions!

Participation in this program enhances general knowledge about Brazil, further facilitating its insertion during the academic exchange. With this cultural and linguistic background, international students are prepared for the academic semester.
