PUCPR International present at National and International Conferences

During the months of April and May 2023, the PUCPR International team engaged in two significant events, outlined as follows:

FAUBAI CONFERENCE 

The national FAUBAI Conference, orchestrated by the Brazilian Association for International Education, successfully concluded its latest edition in Belo Horizonte, MG, from April 15 to 19. This gathering saw the active participation of higher education institutions from both Brazil and abroad. The PUCPR International team was enthusiastic about attending this event, which revolved around the theme of “building knowledge with all voices.”

The conference served as a dynamic platform for hosting discussion panels centered on the pivotal role of internationalization in fostering inclusive education, advancing scientific frontiers, and celebrating the richness of cultural diversity. The event held particular significance as it commemorated the 35th anniversary of the FAUBAI Association and notably stood as the first in-person conference to be held in the field following the global pandemic.

NAFSA CONFERENCE 

Our team’s excitement was palpable as we took part in another invigorating NAFSA Conference held in Washington, D.C. Our presence at this conference was driven by our aspirations to explore potential collaborations and reconnect with our existing partners.
