PUCPR ranked as the best private university in Paraná on THE Impact Rankings 2022

The Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná was ranked by Times Higher Education (THE) – 2022 Impact Rankings as the best private university in Paraná and the third among institutions in Brazil!
For another year, PUCPR is featured in the British magazine Times Higher Education (THE) ranking, one of the most relevant when it comes to higher education analysis. The Impact Rankings evaluates universities concerning the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), established by the United Nations (UN), in data sent by the institutions.
In the 2022 edition of the Times Higher Education Emerging Economies University Rankings, which evaluates the best universities in countries with emerging economies and was recently released, PUCPR was considered the third best institution in Paraná, and the best private university in Brazil. PUCPR was also the only private institution in the state to be among 48 Brazilian universities listed.
PUCPR was highlighted in the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
3) Good health and well-being;
8) Decent work and economic growth;
16) Peace, justice, and strong institutions;
17) Partnerships and the goals.
